SoulTrain – Q&A: Lil Debbie

For an artist formerly known for time spent with Bay Area outlet White Girl Mob, Lil Debbie (real name Jordan Capozzi) has elevated herself past then-heavily-hyped “Gucci Gucci” rapper Kreayshawn. Since breaking from the collective, a steady slew of material has put the rapper in her own lane. That includes collaborations with Houston rapper and Mad Decent artist Riff Raff, where she made her debut through viral hit “Michelle Obama (Presidential Tint).” Doesn’t hurt that the fashion model and designer also received some key co-signs from Snoop Dogg and Rihanna. Releasing her first EP last year Queen D, the “Cake” rapper is back with another in California Sweetheart.
